Zolo Torrontes 2017
Wine SpectatorOffers touches of creaminess to the flavors of white peach, marzipan and dried green herb. Juicy on the finish, with some pineapple accents. Drink now. 5,850 cases made.
Wine AdvocateThe 2017 Torrontés is produced with Torrontés Riojano grapes from seven-year-old vines at 1,000 meters in altitude. It fermented at low temperature and didn't go through malolactic. It was my favorite of the three whites. It is not as aromatic as the grape can be and has some seriousness, even if the core is the grapey Moscatel-like aromas and flavors. The palate is dry and tasty. 54,000 bottles were filled in October 2017.
Wine EnthusiastTropical aromas of lychee and honeydew set up a straightforward palate. Powdery flavors of green melon and lychee are light and flowery on a modest finish.
