Whitehall Lane Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
|Region||California, Napa Valley|
Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Malbec, saw 40% new French oak for 20 months prior to bottling. This is an outstanding wine - full-bodied, with sweet blackcurrant fruit, some graphite, licorice and savory allspice. It is round and juicy, with light tannin and low acidity. Drink it over the next 12-15 years.
Wine SpectatorA solid effort, with rich flavors of dark berry, dusty, loamy earth, cedar and dried herb. More pleasant than special. Drink now through 2028. 11,250 cases made.
Wine EnthusiastThis is a serviceable red, built to be enjoyed now, approachable in its mix of doughy leather, black cherry and structured tannin.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
