This bold red is intense and expressive. Cassis and blueberry flavors mingle with cola, cocoa and licorice notes. Chewy tannins and balsamic acidity amplify the impact. Heady, ripe and in the modern style. Monastrell. Drink now through 2024.

Produced with Monastrell from old vines, the smoky 2019 Tarima Hill fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in French oak barrels for 15 months. This is quite oaky and has a nose of ripe fruit, fried corn and a barbecue sensation. It is full-bodied and juicy on the palate, with 15.2% alcohol, abundant tannins and an oaky finish. It is less oaky than in the past but still too oaky for my taste. For fans of the style. 100,000 bottles produced.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
