Bright red raspberries and cherries sparkle both in the glass and in the aromatics of this lovely and elegant red wine. The full, yet subtle entry leads to flavors of ripe blackberry, cherry preserves and touches of cloves and anise. Velvety and full of finesse from barrel aging, the wine finishes with medium tannins and touches of brown sugar and allspice. This versatile wine pairs well with a variety of foods like swiss chard ravioli with sage butter sauce, mushrooms sautéed with garlic and wine and Teleme cheese with cherry preserves.
