Luigi Bosca Malbec 2016
|Region||Argentina, Mendoza, Lujan de Cuyo|
Wine AdvocateOriginally 100% from Luján de Cuyo, in the last few years they started blending in some grapes from the Valle de Uco, and the 2016 Malbec has some 30% grapes from the Valle de Uco. Sixty percent of the volume matured in used barriques for 12 months, yet the wine comes through as quite balsamic and spicy, with notes of incense and cigar ash. The palate reveals some grainy tannins and a dry, astringent finish. 800,000 bottles produced.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
