Roth Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
|Region||California, Sonoma County, Alexander Valley|
The medium to deep ruby-purple colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is scented of cassis, baked blackberries, Morello cherries, bitter chocolate and dusty earth with a touch of cedar. Medium to full-bodied, it has a good fruit core with baking spices coming through, a chewy frame and a spicy, slightly warm finish. 25,000 cases produced.
Blended with 13% Syrah, this is substantial red wine, perfumed in violet, with deep, dark flavors of dark cherry, vanilla and toasted oak. Supple and soft, it finishes in a savory tease of cedar and turned earth.
Clean and pure, with a mix of supple dark berry, cedar, licorice, loamy earth and gravel flavors. Drink now through 2028. 28,000 cases made.
