Vote No On Prop #124 #125 #126

I hope you will consider a ‘NO’ vote on Propositions #124, #125, and #126, which are on the ballot this November. These alcohol initiatives aim to make big changes to Colorado laws, like expanding how many liquor stores big, out-of-state corporations can own and allowing third parties to deliver booze without the safeguards we’ve come to trust.

The out-of-state billion dollar corporations funding these initiatives have no regard for Colorado's small businesses and the local economy. Family-owned liquor stores have spoken out against the initiatives, but we don't have the resources to compete with the millions of dollars pouring in from corporate donors like Doordash.

The companies funding these initiatives say they'll increase purchasing options and convenience for consumers, but these companies have a history of cutting prices to bankrupt smaller businesses and then using their monopoly power to raise prices again and control the market, leaving consumers with fewer options.

The fact is that these initiatives are a corporate cash grab—and they will take the money and run all the way back to their out-of-state headquarters, not re-invest in Colorado.

The big-tech companies sponsoring these initiatives are driven by short-term profits and don't care about long-term consequences and local communities. Whether it's the decline of Colorado's craft brewers and distillers or the loss of jobs in the local liquor industry, these companies don't have Colorado's best interests in mind.

These initiatives will hurt Colorado small businesses. They will hurt our communities, and they will hurt our local brewers and distillers.
