JS Cristalino Brut, a method champenoise sparkler made with the traditional cava grapes, Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel-lo. You'll note fresh citrus, green apple and bright minerals on the palate, with a toasty nose and lively, crisp finish. Try this with a dragon roll, sashimi, thai-style mussels, lobster rolls and french fries!

Along with DO wines and sangria, Cava is one of what Bernth calls García Carrión’s “three pillars of success.” The Spanish sparkler, which boasts its own DO status, is a bargain compared to Champagne—though it too is made by the traditional method, unlike Prosecco. Jaume Serra Cristalino cements García Carrión’s strong footprint in this important export market, says Bernth: “We feel we have one of the best Cavas in the market, aged on the lees for 12 months.” With handsomely packaged Brut, Extra Dry, and Brut Rosé offerings, Jaume Serra Cristalino delivers an exceptional quality-toprice ratio—and bubbles to boot.

Straw color, smooth and fresh aromas; fine and fruity palate with a dry aftertaste. Clean, dry and crisp with citrus and apple flavors.

Cristalino is always a solid go-to Cava. This brut is round, slightly yeasty and shows citrus aromas that veer toward lemon-lime. The palate is healthy and clean, with a narrow set of citrus and apple flavors. Fairly full and long on the finish, which makes the whole package more than worthwhile given the cost.n.

A toasty bubbly, with lots of hazelnut, pie crust and vanilla, with a touch of coffee grounds. There's fresh acidity that's well-integrated, with a lingering lemon candy-tinged finish. Drink now.
