Maison L'Envoyé The Attaché 2013

We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

Redolent of boysenberry and mineral on the nose that joins clove, forest floor, cola, subtle black pepper and toasty oak notes on the palate. Welcomed acidity lifts and extends the flavors through a long, silky finish.

Wine AdvocateThe 2013 Attaché is matured in 40% new oak and comes across a little sweeter and plush on the nose compared to the Two Messengers: kirsch, blueberry and a touch of violet coming through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with silky smooth tannin, again, very well-judged acidity and a sense of natural poise that cannot disguise the Burgundy influence from Louis-Michel Liger-Belair. Like the Two Messengers, this is not only impressive, but exceedingly good value.

Wine SpectatorLight, bright and tangy, flashing a beam of raspberry, strawberry and green tea flavors into a lively framework, finishing with zip and precision. Drink now through 2019. 1,500 cases made.

Wine EnthusiastThis wine shows smooth red fruit that is light and generic, with modest weight and an earthy flavor. The wine spent a bit of time in 25% new oak, though it doesn't show up in the flavors.
