Barossa Valley Estate Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre 2016
|Region||Australia, South Australia, Barossa Valley|
|Brand||Barossa Valley Estate|
Wine SpectatorBlackberry, cassis and blueberry notes are dark and brooding, with lingering accents of dark chocolate, smoke, tomato leaf and licorice. This has a sink-your-teeth-into-them richness to the tannins. Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre. Drink now through 2028. 10,000 cases made, 10,000 cases imported.
Wine EnthusiastTangy raspberry and cherry fruit, graphite, florals and earthy, mushroomy character lead on the nose of this GSM blend. On the palate, the fruit is tangy if a little sour, and the tannins are muscular and a bit blocky, not quite meshing as well as they could.
All sizes are 750ml unless otherwise stated.
