The 2022 Vidiano Dafnios is unoaked, dry and comes in at 13% alcohol. Young, obviously, and exuberant, this is a little unevolved at this stage, but it's still expressive in showing off its fine fruit. And it does have fine fruit, even though it seems a little on the lighter side this year. Beautifully balanced and quite elegant, this also has some grip on the finish to support that lovely fruit. This may be poised to hold well for much of this decade, more or less, but after giving it some settle-down time over the next couple of months, drinking it on the early side will preserve its freshness and youthful exuberance. It may always be best in its youth.
