The pale yellow color tinted in green announces a wine with a great deal of freshness and purity. The complex nose reveals floral and mineral notes with accents of fresh citrus fruits. On the palate lively and fresh, the aromas of flowers and white fruits, blends with flint. The very soft finish evinces a great deal of minerality. Pairs well with vacherin, beaufort and fresh goat cheeses, capon, rabbit and chicken, rockfish, halibut, shrimp, apricots, leeks and pumpkins.

Jeb Dunnuck"A blend of 40% Grenache Blanc, 30% Roussanne, 20% Clairette and the rest Viognier and Bourboulenc, aged in barrel and concrete tanks, the 2016 Costières de Nîmes Blanc Nostre Païs comes almost exclusively from the estate Bec Vineyard in the southern part of the Costières de Nîmes. It's a perfumed, pretty, elegant white loaded with notions of citrus blossom, crushed stone, salty, sea breeze like nuances, yet packs ample richness and depth on the palate. Fresh, lively and balanced, drink it over the coming 2-3 years."~J.D.

Wine Advocate"The 2016 Costieres de Nimes Blanc Nostre Pais is a mainly (75%) barrel-fermented blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Clairette, all sourced from the southern sector of the appellation (closer to the Mediterranean Sea). It shows some faint notes of roasted nuts and honeyed citrus as a result but also remains bright, crisp and almost saline in character, with a long, briny finish. Drink it over the next few years."~J.C.

Wine EnthusiastFresh pear and quince notes are layered in savory tones of graphite, smoke and tobacco leaf in this savory, boldly structured wine. While rich and weighty on the palate, it's balanced neatly by fresh acidity and a slightly phenolic finish. Pleasant now, it may show better from 2020.

Wine SpectatorA streak of bitter almond gives this cut, while plump apple, pear and melon flavors form the core. Shows a light meringue echo on the finish, with good range and length. Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Viognier and Bourboulenc. Drink now through 2019.
