Jean-Noël Haton Brut Classic NV
Staff Comments: An amazing blend of Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. It is dry, crisp and the perfect champagne to up your game from Proseccos! Lemon/lime zest, hints of salinity, dried apricots, and Granny Smith Apples. We loved this! Pair this with eggs Benedict, fried shrimp with horseradish, or Bruschetta with pecorino cheese.
Appearance: A golden yellow color, its fine foam forms an attractive constant stream of bubbles to offer a beautiful luster. Bouquet: The fragrant, fruity bouquet reveals aromas of fresh fruit (redcurrants and stone fruit). With aeration, notes of citrus fruit and orange zest emerge, punctuated by a touch of dried fruit and flowers. Mouthfeel: The attack is fresh and supple, unveiling a superb structure. A well-balanced and pleasant finish. Food Pairing Suggestions: Enjoy it as an aperitif on its own.
A bright Champagne, with lively and layered flavors of poached pear, white cherry, pastry and dried apricot. Offers a lightly chalky finish. Drink now through 2017. 35,000 cases made.
With some good bottle age, this is a soft, biscuit- and almond-flavored wine. There is a crisp edge from the grapefruit flavor underneath, making this a Champagne that's full of character and ready to drink now.
