In contrast to the delicacy of Devil's Resolution Chardonnay, this bottling is quite a blousy, rich style. It leads with aromas of peach, orange and lemon sherbet, backed by cream and toasty oak. The palate offers mouthwatering acidity and creamy texture with a lick of oak and a lemony finish. Still young and a little on the clunky side, this is likely to improve with another year or two in bottle.
