An aromatic combination of blackberry, violet, white pepper, chalk and a trace of earthiness. Ripe, earthy marionberry and white peach fruit flavors fill the mouth, while bits of anise and bittersweet dark chocolate float in the background. Smooth tannins and more than enough acidity to keep things lively.

The 2020 Syrah Estate is lifted with classic Syrah markers of cracked black pepper, black plum, and dried lavender. The palate is dry, with a youthful gripping tannic structure and notes of turned earth, dried black raspberry, and tea leaf. This will be a Fall 2022 release. Hold it another year and drink 2024-2032.
