A bright, flavorful Belgian Style Tripel inspired by Thai flavors- brewed with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, ginger, and coriander.

Spice Trade specializes in brewing beers that are meant to be paired with food, but they are also great to drink on their own. This beer pours an opaque, yellow / orange color with a small, fizzy, white head that dissipates quickly. On the nose you get a mixture of ginger, kaffir lime, coriander, and fruity Belgian yeast aromas. It has a medium body with medium light carbonation and a slightly dry finish. The fruity Belgian yeast esters hit your tongue up front along with a hint of bubblegum that is fairly common with those yeast strains. Ginger and coriander come through mid-palate followed by some lemongrass and more ginger on the finish. The flavors don’t linger for too long, though, leading into that slightly dry finish.
