This wine is a serious expression of Napa Valley, showing classic dark, rich, blackberry and red cherry notes followed by savory, peppercorn characters that also highlight the signature of the varietal. Aromas of blackberries, leather, cedar, peppercorn, and a touch of vanilla are met on the palate with rich and racy dark plum and strawberries and hints of toasted nuts and cocoa powder.

The base appellation 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is rock-solid, with lots of cassis and mulberry fruits mixed with candied flowers, spice, and vanilla-like nuances. It's rich and medium to full-bodied, with solid overall balance and ripe tannins, all making for a delicious Cabernet that's going to keep for over a decade.
