Appearance: Deep red-violet in color.
Aroma: On the nose, there is lots of fruit. Red principally, with blackberry and plum.
Mouth Feel: In the mouth, it is silky despite its youth. It is well-balanced between its acidity and the sweetness of the tannins. It is an intense wine with good persistency and complexity.

The 2018 Syrah has a 2% dash of Tempranillo from Marchigue and was aged in 20% new barrels. Purple in color. The intense aromas include ripe blackberry and hints of spice plus a whiff of flesh and touches of strawberry and cigar box. In the mouth, the tannins are silky and a little grippy, delivering juicy freshness, while the texture is smooth before the languorous finish.

The eponymous 2018 Syrah was produced with fruit from different plots in their vineyards in Marchigüe with different altitudes and expositions, fermented and matured separately and then blended to create this bottling. It has varietal character with notes of black olives and smoked bacon, a spicy twist from 12 months in French barriques (20% of them new), and a full-bodied palate with juicy fruit and round tannins. It pretty much showcases the house style of ripe, round and lush wines, rich and tasty and with a soft and tender mouthfeel. 45,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2021.
