2019 vintage Rated 91 points James Suckling This has rich aromas of baked blueberries, cassis, violets, dark chocolate and licorice. It’s full-bodied with firm, sleek tannins and fresh acidity. Fruity and flavorful with a medium finish.
"Reserva" is made from carefully selected grapes from vineyards more than 30 years old. The wine is aged in French oak barrels and then additionally in bottles before release. The harmonious coexistence of fruit and wood over time has made this a great wine, characterized by elegance and complexity.

The 2020 Reserva Malbec shows the consistency of this bottling, one of the most important wines for Norton. Approximately 50% comes from Valle de Uco and 50% from Luján de Cuyo, and it matured in used barrels for one year. It has good ripeness, balance and elegance, integrated oak and very fine tannins. The consumer for this wine does not want differences from vintage to vintage; they want consistency of quality, and the 2020 is just a little riper than the 2021 that I tasted next to it. 600,000 bottles produced.

This food-friendly wine offers peppercorn, cherry, and a hint of vanilla on the nose. It's medium-bodied with soft tannins, and delivers ripe blackberry flavors with a fresh touch of eucalyptus on the palate. It's a good Malbec for everyday consumption.
