Liveliness, exuberance, and sometimes a bit mischievous, this is a fitting name for a young, fresh, fragrant Barbera. The color is a lively and brilliant dark ruby-red. The perfume is fresh and intense with clean scents of wild berries, currants and sour black cherry. A light hint of vanilla and toasted oak. The flavor is warm and robust, full-bodied, pleasant and balanced. This Barbera's sensory attributes make it an outstanding accompaniment for imposing first courses and main-course, meats boiled or roasted.

G. H. Mumm & Cie. Cordon Rouge BrutAppearance: A clear and bright golden yellow in colour, its abundant, delicate bubbles testify to this champagne's elegance and vigour. Fragrance: The nose reveals initial aromas of ripe fresh fruit (white and yellow peaches, apricots), tropical notes (lychee or pineap- ple). It then opens up with the fragrance of vanilla before developing notes of milky caramel, breadcrumbs and yeast, culminating in aromas of dried fruit and honey. Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut NVAspect: A fine bead and an elegant colour. Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier's colour evolves gently from a pretty raspberry tint to a hint of salmon. In this colour range, the brightest is a pink with subtle shades of melon and raspberry. It owes it quaint name Cuisse de nymphe émue (hot pink, in English), to a rose bush. The bead is so fine that it seems to dance in the glass and then on the palate. Nose: Subtle, forthright, and very fresh on the nose. Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier suggests a basketful of small berry fruits: strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, redcurrants, and morello and black cherries. The overwhelming sensation is one of freshness. Taste: Fruit dominates the palate. Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier is a lively, well-rounded wine which combines structure and freshness. The forthright, slightly sharp attack is like breathing the heady aromas of a freshly-picked basket of berry fruits - a symphony of aromas with a gently-rounded, tender finish.
